- I hate doing it to books, but I couldn't finish it. The book was well written, I liked the characters from what little we see of their personality outside of sex but honestly this was basically erotica. It starts out intense with legit plot but then its SEX, SEX, SEX and then tiny plot point and then more SEX. Just not what I like to read. It was insta-connection that led to insta-lust and just stereotyped the characters because we didn't see them much outside the bedroom. Maybe the plot picks up, but I'm 50% in and I'm not committed enough to the characters to want to see how the book ends.
- I enjoyed this RH book from Scarlett Snow! I liked how steamy it was and the different elements she included (especially the M/M moments, total guilty pleasure!). I thought it did a good job of providing story along with the heat. I was on the fence with giving it a 5 star but it was similar to another series I adore so I felt like I really couldn't. I definitely recommend this series though and can't wait to see more from her. I already loved her other books so I knew I was going to love this one. Loved the BDSM elements, done very well!

- Wow, what an amazing start to a series! This book starts off so strong. The first chapter dives right into the action right from the get-go and it still gets even better from there. The steamyness is hot, the characters are amazing, they all have very distinct personalities, and I'm loving every moment of being along for the ride with Violet and her guys. I cannot wait for book two!
- Okay, so I was recommended this book through a promo from the Author herself. It was an excellent way to use a 2-star review on and it worked. It hooked me right in and I bought it from because well I saw a challenge and I totally accepted it.

Let’s begin,
Violet is the child of mixed breeding. Part wolf, part vamp and all loved. She already starts with one of her dudes. Ronan is her protector and lover. This book starts out with her mother being murdered, a heart-breaking beginning to a book. But it carved the way for a deeper plot, once you find out right in the beginning. Violet is a queen one that has many protectors.
She is to become the one true queen and to do so she must amass her protectors and warriors. Ones that will come to her in troves to be there just to protect her.
Okay I am not going to give to much more away, I’m a tease like that. I am going to throw out that this book was more than two stars for me. Call me a pervert, I’m okay with that because well I am. Don’t judge. I’m not one of those steamy romance readers that sits in a dark corner hiding my shame. I am a say it loud and proud. I am all about the smut.
I will read it in public I don’t care. I think this is one of those books that will turn any gals’ cheeks pink. Snow uses some racy words and makes you love them. For me that shows a creative mind. Her descriptions of the sexy times are right up my alley and I loved meeting her new guys as they start to come into her little harem. Kelo? Yea that’s my bae.
I love the BDSM aspects of the book, I am generally not cool with a Domme but the parts that Snow writes Violet I can dig. There is a good plot in this one, but it also breaks it up with the moments of alone time with her dudes.
I recommend this one, from an avid smut reader. This one is happily placed in my 4 bunny shelf. Good Show Snow, Good Show. - Ok, let me just get this out of the way first, this book’s romance was fire level hot!!! Each scene was better than the previous one on the heat scale and the jealously of Violet was real! Lol. However with that said, if descriptive steamy time isn’t your thing then this book probably isn’t for you.
Now that, that is out of the way let me tell how much I loved the story! I like reading RH, but sometimes they aren’t done well or the whole relationship thing seems to occur for an odd reason. This is not the case here. Violet needs her protectors in this dangerous world so she can take back the throne that was stolen from her family. The writing is superb and I seriously hope there will be more books in this series!! - I have no words for how amazing this book is. It was gritty and sexy. The depth of the characters was authentic. Scarlet roped me in with her eloquent writing. This book was so entertaining! I loved every word!
- Aaahhhhh... Finally I got my greedy little hands on this gem. I've been anticipating this book for a while and the author did not disappoint. I love love love this book so hard. It was everything and more than the author promised. I'm currently suffering through a severe book hangover. I don't know how I'll survive until the next book. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go take an ice bath and eat lots of chocolate. I'm practically steaming my windows up by reading the scorching hot scenes. *sigh*
